About the Role…
Are you a skilled Pattern Maker passionate about producing high-quality patterns for casting processes? If so, we’d like to hear from you.
Working in our onsite Pattern Shop, you will produce and modifying existing patterns used to produce moulds for our casting process from timber.
A day in the life of a Pattern Maker…
- Working to risk assessments and method statements where they are in place
- Modify patterns to engineering drawings supplied
- Completion of inspection reports
- Investigation and rectification, where required, any non-conformance’s reported
- Completion of tasks to an agreed time scale to meet production requirements
- Checking plant and equipment are safe and fit for purpose prior to use
- Liaison with the foundry production team in order to progress castings through the foundry
The working pattern for this role would be an alternating shift pattern of 5 mornings followed by 4 afternoons, Monday-Friday.
