What your new role will entail;

AECOM are currently looking for a Civil Engineer to work on our joint venture with Caledonia Water Alliance where we have teamed up with Morrison Water Services to deliver Scottish Water’s SR21 Water and Wastewater Infrastructure programme. You will be responsible for the following;

• Perform specific and limited portions of a broader assignment of an experienced engineer.
• Gather and correlate engineering data using established and well-defined procedures.
• Work on detailed engineering assignments involving calculations and tests.
• Propose approaches to solve new problems encountered.
• Provide guidance to entry level engineers.
• Perform work in accordance with agreed budget and schedule with moderate supervision.
• Liaise with construction delivery team & contribute to providing solutions to challenges that arise during the construction process.
• Liaise with clients to obtain relevant technical consents as part of the engineering process.
• Support the Design & Build of wastewater infrastructure.
• Comply with CWA Quality Assurance procedures.

Being part of the team;

You will key to the Improving Urban Waters programme for our client, Scottish Water as well as delivering flooding and capital maintenance projects through our SR21 wastewater infrastructure framework across Scotland. Projects will include CSO’s, storm storage tanks, rising mains, SUDs, Sewer rehab/replacement and pipebridges.

You will be part of a diverse team of around 30x Civil Engineers and CAD Technicians, with support from specialist Designers from within the AECOM and CWA communities.
