Qualifications / Training:
Recognized apprenticeship or training program in a technical discipline preferred.
Experience:
Previous experience operating CNC Machinery
Key duties; Interpret client specifications, enter them onto the CNC machine, set up machine and monitor it as it operates to ensure delivery of quality precision made parts.
Optimizing the machining processes in terms of consistent quality and productivity. Supervise and coordinate activities in the machine shop.
Responsibilities;
Operating computer-controlled machine to cut, make and manufacture precision parts.
Load and unload material, set up and operate a computer numerical control (CNC) machine.
Assisting in Quality control of parts and stock control.
Ensuring that operating policies and procedures are adhered to.
Basic servicing and maintenance of equipment.
General house keeping.
The successful candidate should have good attention to detail, work to a high standard and be able to work on own initiative.
Driving licence and own transport required due to location of premises.
