JOB TITLE: Cleaning Operative - Holiday Cover 

LOCATION: The Centre, Livingston

Hourly Rate: £11.60 per hour

ABM UK is seeking a dedicated and reliable Cleaning Operative to provide holiday cover at various locations across the UK. As a Cleaning Operative, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our clients' facilities are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.

As a Cleaning Operative, you will be responsible for carrying out a variety of cleaning tasks to maintain a clean and orderly environment. This includes, but is not limited to, dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and disinfecting surfaces. You will need to follow established cleaning procedures and ensure that all areas are cleaned according to the highest standards.

We are looking for individuals who are highly motivated, detail-oriented, and have a strong work ethic. You should have excellent communication skills and be able to work well both independently and as part of a team. Previous experience in cleaning or a similar role is preferred, but not essential, as training will be provided.

• Carry out cleaning tasks as directed by the supervisor or client
• Ensure that all areas are cleaned and maintained to the highest standards
• Follow established cleaning procedures and use appropriate cleaning equipment and materials
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor
• Maintain an inventory of cleaning supplies and notify when they need to be replenished
• Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times
• Assist with other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Requirements

• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong work ethic and reliability
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work well independently and in a team
• Previous experience in cleaning or a similar role preferred
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations
• Flexibility to work at different locations as required
