Our cabinets and furniture are made bespoke for our clients and as such each job presents an opportunity to be treated in a new way. Ideally you will have previous experience as a finisher, but we will consider someone who could demonstrate the skills needed.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Apply stains, paints, and finishes to various types of wood and other furniture materials.
  • Sand and prepare surfaces to achieve the desired smoothness and texture.
  • Match and blend finishes to maintain consistency across furniture pieces.
  • Inspect and repair any imperfections in the finish to meet quality standards.
  • Collaborate closely with designers and craftsmen to achieve the desired aesthetic.
  • Keep a clean and organized workspace and maintain finishing equipment.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and techniques to enhance finishing skills.

Benefits

Hours: 40 hours per week with an early finish on a Friday (Mon-Thurs 07:30-17:00. Friday 08:00-12:30)

Salary: Dependent on experience.
