Your dream role:

The IT Project manager will work closely with our IT Applications, Engineering, and Infrastructure teams, as well as 3rd party consultants to deliver Project Excellence for the business.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in managing multiple projects simultaneously, varying in size, within large complex businesses, managing multi disciplined teams including partners. You will also be supporting the business in the creation of project documentation and to ensure project governance is adhered to.

Main responsibilities:

  • Deliver cross functional projects, with ownership of the IT elements.
  • Managing the day-to-day project activities including administration, planning, monitoring, controlling, and reporting
  • Work with various internal and external stakeholders.
  • Creating project status reports for various stakeholders
  • Ensure project plans are maintained and communicated to key stakeholders.
  • Presenting project status reporting at the Project Board meetings
  • Lead project planning sessions and the co-ordination of internal and external resources.
  • Ensure all projects are delivered within agreed timescales, cost, and quality, with appropriate escalations.
  • Oversee the delivery and sign-off of all project documentation.

 What you will bring:

  • Detailed project management experience which is aligned to a formal process such as Prince 2 or APM.
  • Proven experience and knowledge of the end-to-end processes and actives to successfully deliver challenging projects.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a wide range of team settings.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Good presentation skills accompanied with high level of MS Office packages.
  • Probing skills, question, challenge the norm, and discover how to add value to the process.
  • Ability to be innovative in resolving issues and defining solutions.
  • Excellent influencing and negotiating skills within IT and the business.
