The role? 

An exciting opportunity has arisen here at EnerMech for an Electrical Technician to work onshore in our workshops in Aberdeen with occasional site work on a permanent basis. This role is full time offering 37.5 hours per week, is salaried with opportunity for overtime and excellent benefits package included.

The role will involve carrying out CompEx inspections, maintenance, installations & repairs on EnerMech and client owned equipment across our Cranes/Hydraulics workshops. There will be an element of site work carrying out electrical inspection, maintenance and fault finding on various equipment.

Type of equipment you would be working on would include but not be limited to HPU's, cranes workshop containers & project specific works. These activities can include; CompEx inspections on the above units, fault finding.

You will liaise with suppliers for quoting / purchasing materials and spares for work activities within your workload. You will also take part in regular review and updating of procedures and risk assessments to ensure that all work-scopes are carried out in the safest, most efficient and cost effective manner possible. 

 You are? 

To be successful for this position you will hold a time served Electrical apprenticeship and have previous experience in repair & maintenance of electrical equipment & systems. You will hold good knowledge & understanding of industry & regulatory equipment test & inspection requirements and have a COMPEX certification. Basic IT skills are essential.

This is predominantly a stand alone role and so successful applicants will have previous demonstrable organisational skills as well as being able to work on their own initiative.

This is a career opportunity for someone looking to work onshore in a role Mon – Fri based in a workshop environment.
