Office based: Kilmarnock or surrounding areas (2-3 days of travel per month will be required in the UK)

Remuneration: £65,000 - £70,000 (depending on experience)

The role of the Senior Data Analyst – Timber Products will involve:

• Senior Sales Data Analyst position within the timber manufacturing market sector dealing with construction timber, pallet timber, CLS, decking, fencing, roof trusses, timber frame
• Managing the interfaces between sales and operations across all sites to ensure that production and sales plans are aligned
• Working closely with Production and Procurement teams to ensure production schedules maximise sales, yield and profits
• Produce and develop group weekly, monthly and quarterly sales performance reports
• Supporting the sales team to identify which clients are buying products / which clients are already at budget
• Monitoring stock levels across the business – identifying whether products are being produced in the correct geographical location dependent on order book
• Focus on removing bottlenecks and driving automation and process improvements

The ideal applicant will be a Senior Data Analyst – Timber Products experience with:

• Must have 3+ years data analyst / sales analysis / business analysis experience
• This position may suit someone with a finance or accountancy background with a passion for analytics
• The ability to work under pressure and to timescales when required
• Must have an in-depth knowledge and experience of ERP and CRM systems
• IT literate (Microsoft Office)
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
• Results driven, analytical minded
