Hygiene Manager

Job Objective (Purpose):
The Hygiene Manager is responsible for the hygiene standards in the Factory. Manages people, processes and systems, in order to ensure hygiene standards are maintained to a high level and that relevant regulatory standards are met. You will work closely with the Managers and departmental management teams.
This is achieved by:
- Designing and embedding hygiene Standard Operating Procedures across the business
- Designing and delivery of training and development programs to support the hygiene teams across the site
- Lead program of continuous improvement, ensuring all systems of work are in place to support specific hygiene needs
- Designing and embedding optimum resourcing solutions across each site, to meet site needs, and overall business needs
- Ensure all schedules of work, and regulatory record keeping is accurate and maintained to a high standard
- Carry out internal audits of hygiene activities, providing coaching to site teams on areas for improvement.
Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities (Job Duties and Tasks)
1. Creation and review of all Standard Operating Procedures for hygiene team
2. People management
3. Design and delivery of departmental training
4. Liaising with other departments to identify needs, and troubleshoot
5. Workforce planning
6. Ensuring that hygiene standards and schedules are adhered to
7. Administering stock control for hygiene consumables
8. Coaching and mentoring members of the hygiene team
