Activus Recruitment are seeking a qualified Quantity Surveyor based in Oldmeldrum for a full-time, permanent position with our client, a well established Civils and Construction Company.
The Role:
- Preparation of Interim Valuations
- Final Account negotiations and settlement
- Cost Valuation Reporting
- Identify and pricing variations
- Carry out site visits on a regular basis
- Preparation of material requisitions
- Liaise with clients and attend client meetings
- Analysis of project costs
- Managing subcontractor appointment and valuations
Personal Requirements
- Excellent eye for detail and a comprehensive approach.
- You will be highly experienced in reading and accurately interpreting drawings and technical specifications.
- Excellent communication skills
- Highly motivated and organised individual
- Experience of various construction methods
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
- Excellent understanding of commercial issues.
- Competent in the use of computer packages
Salary will be based on experience.
