Conveyancing Legal Secretary

We have an exciting new opportunity for a Conveyancing Secretary to join a small, busy Firm to the west of Edinburgh City Centre. This is a full time, permanent opportunity to start ASAP.
We are looking to speak with experienced Secretaries with a background supporting a number of fee earners.
You will manage all administrative and secretarial aspects of the conveyancing process providing support to clients. You will be responsible for ensuring accurate records are maintained whilst also providing copy and audio typing along with some diary management for the partner.
What you'll do
- Handle all incoming calls for Team
- Diary Management, managing appointments for the teams
- Drafting and completion of Legal documentation via digital audio/copy typing
- Managing online client forms, ensuring accuracy
- Liaising with Estate Agents and Solicitors out with the firm
- Noting interest and preparing and sending offer details for clients
- Liaising with Mortgage Lenders
- Applying to Land Registry for documents
- Obtaining redemption statements
What you'll need
- Background in a Legal Secretarial/Legal PA role
- Knowledge of the Scottish Residential market
- Typing speed of 50 WPM with a high level of accuracy
- Knowledge of MS applications
- Strong communication skills
- The ability to remain calm in pressured situations
- Effective prioritisation skills
What you'll receive
- Up to £27,000 PA

This is a full-time, permanent role working between the hours of 9am and 5pm, Monday to Friday.
