Monday to Friday, 45 hours per week

Petit Forestier, the European leader in refrigerated rental, are recruiting for an excellent LGV Technician to join our tight knit and friendly team based at our Glasgow  Depot.

This is a great opportunity for a skilled technician who is looking for a new opportunity to enhance their existing skills and knowledge, and open to  progress further as a LGV Technician and even possibly HGV for the right candidate

LGV Technician Role

As an integral member of the depot, you will be supporting their overarching team goal of making a difference to all of our customers by ensuring all vehicles are serviced, repaired and maintained to the highest standard. The successful candidate will also be responsible for carrying out inspections routine servicing preparing vehicles to MOT standards and in compliance with the company's O license regulations. 

What are we looking for?

Essential:

  • Basic understanding of mechanics
  • Previous experience within the commercial vehicle repair industry
  • Experience working on Mercedes and Iveco desirable

Desirable:

  • Certified apprenticeship in vehicle motor repairs
