James Gray Recruitment are actively seeking a SHEQ Coordinator in Glasgow on behalf of one of our key clients who are an established contractor in the civil engineering and power sectors.

• Our client is a contractor who has been operating for over 50 years across the UK and Ireland, working across a number of Joint Ventures, Public-Private Partnerships and alternative forms of contract on well-known and celebrated projects;
• Well-respected and successful, our client has secured a substantial contract and are looking for talented and ambitious individuals to join their team;

What you’ll be doing:

• The successful SHEQ Coordinator will provide administrative support to the SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environmental, Quality) team with civil / power projects in Glasgow / Scotland;
• Issue weekly reports on outstanding actions,
• Analysis of contract data performance to identify trends and produce appropriate reports,
• Contribute and help to ensure that success throughout all projects is achieved by delivering the programme on time,
• Contribute to the development of their team to meet the current and long term needs of both the SHEQ Team and Operations.

What you’ll need to be successful:

• Ideally, the candidate will be degree-educated within civil engineering;
• Good knowledge of appropriate Health & Safety legislation, policy, and procedures is desirable;
• Previous civil engineering, HSE or Project experience is desirable.
