We're currently recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer to join a prominent manufacturing company based in Kettlehill, Cupar. This exciting opportunity has become available due to a large expansion within the business. The shifts are 4 on 4 off days and nights and the salary on offer is £40,000 - £44,000.

Overview 

As part of this role, you'll be responsible for addressing reactive breakdowns, executing planned maintenance tasks, and contributing to exciting projects. Other duties include: 

  • Troubleshooting and repairing production machines.
  • Installing new equipment and systems, ensuring top-notch safety and performance standards.
  • Performing preventative maintenance to enhance efficiency and equipment lifespan.
  • Reading and interpreting technical manuals, schematics, and documentation to diagnose and repair issues.
  • Collaborating with fellow engineers to address complex equipment problems.
  • Participating in projects for continuous improvement in production efficiency.
  • Working cross-functionally to identify and resolve equipment issues affecting production.
  • Maintaining and updating equipment documentation, including schedules and records.
  • Ensuring equipment operates within safety and performance standards through regular inspections.

Required Experience:

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Minimum NVQ Level 3 qualification in electrical or mechanical engineering.
