Management Accountant

About the Client:
Neo Recrutiment's Client is a dynamic and forward-thinking organisation committed to achieving strategic growth and excellence. We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Management Accountant to join their team and play a pivotal role in driving their financial success.

Role Overview:
As a Management Accountant, you will be a key contributor to the realisation of our Client's strategic objectives and growth plans. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the delivery of accurate and timely financial data, supporting the Board in making informed decisions. Monitoring and reporting on financial operations within the business will be integral to your role.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate and timely Monthly Management Accounts and Duties
- Contribute to budgeting and forecasting processes
- Reconcile Sales Ledger, Purchase Ledger, and Bank facilities
- Maintain Fixed Asset Register and HP schedules
- Effectively manage and report on cash flow
- Monthly reconciliation of IF and Xero
- Oversee payroll-associated interfaces
- Take responsibility for HMRC compliance (VAT, PAYE/NIC)
- Collaborate with external accountants for year-end Financial Statements and schedules
- Provide additional financial reporting as required, including the development of departmental P&L analysis

Experience, Education & Qualifications:
Essential:
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Strong accounting systems experience
- Good working knowledge of IT and Microsoft Office
- Fully qualified in accounting (ICAS/ACMA/CIMA)
- Personable, able to build relationships across the business
- Self-motivated, diligent, trustworthy, with strong attention to detail
- Payroll experience

Desirable:
- Xero experience
- Knowledge of transport and organic resource management operations
