Calling all Field Service Engineers across Scotland!

JBT are looking for a Field Service Engineer based in Scotland to join our Proseal team, enabling us to satisfy our customers across this geographical area. Your role as Field Service Engineer reports into Dane our Service Manager and is critical to ensure we maintain excellent service levels on site and support our customers the best way possible. Your role is to fix machines or carry out planned maintenance but as the face of the business you are our brand ambassadors out in the field, therefore we would like you to have a caring approach to customer service. A day in the life of our Field Service Engineer ...

• You will perform Preventive Planned Maintenance (PPM) service work on our machinery and tooling and conduct on-site commissioning of machines, conveyors, tooling, and bespoke machinery
• You'll provide on-site support in breakdown situations and join our 24/7 service rota (we ensure this is shared fairly among the team)
• While on-site you will deliver operator and technical training for our client and respond to their requests seeking support from the team if required
• If problems and potential defect trends arise, to report these in helping on-going improvement of out machinery
• Your role will be to develop strong customer relationships and maintain these, to enhance client retention and satisfaction
• Health & Safety is paramount to us and your safety comes first, we will expect you to adhere to all statutory and Proseal-specific health and safety requirements to maintain a safe work environment

What would we like to see on your CV ...

• A completed apprenticeship in either a mechanical or electrical engineering or equivalent or an NVQ level 3 in electrical installation or maintenance
• You will need to be a driver and hold a valid UK driving license, plus have a current passport as international travel may be required.
• Be PC literate with ability to create, modify and maintain documents
• we would like a working knowledge of pneumatic systems
• If you have PLC system knowledge and understand motion control systems, servo motors and/or frequency invertors that would be awesome!
