A leading organization requires a Head of API Platforms to join its fantastic growing team.

An excellent opportunity to be the driving force in APIs within a global enterprise.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Proven experience in API platform building, including the design, development, design, architecture, delivery, and maintenance of an API platform.
  • Ensure that the API initiatives meet the needs and expectations of all parties involved.
  • Oversee the setup and maintenance of scalable, highly available, and disaster recovery-enabled platforms
  • Experience in aligning API strategies with broader business goals and digital transformation initiatives. Developing broad API capabilities across the organisation.
  • Advanced knowledge of cloud technologies, digital transformation strategies, and software development life cycles (SDLC).
  • Exceptional ability in leading diverse software engineering teams, fostering an environment of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.
  • Previous experience of leadership to development teams and being able to evaluate complex delivery risks and issues accurately and objectively.
  • Demonstrate a flexible approach to work
  • Making sound and good decisions, understanding the right level of risk and influencing others
