Field Service Engineer

Glasgow – West and Central Scotland

Monday to Friday 38.5 hours per week

Want to work with a globally recognised brand of heavy plant and construction machinery?  

SMT GB markets and distributes Volvo Construction Equipment including wheeled loaders, articulated haulers, hydraulic excavators, and utility and road equipment products across the UK.

As a mobile engineer you’ll be attending breakdowns as well as carrying out services, maintenance, repairs and overhauls on Volvo heavy plant and machinery at customer sites.

Hours

Core hours: Monday to Wednesday 08.00 – 16.30 Thursday 08.00 – 16.00 Friday 08.00 - 15.30

Overtime: Time and a half on hours outside of core hours Monday to noon Saturday 

Overtime: Double time from noon Saturday to 08.00 on Monday

Requirements

NVQ L3 (or equivalent) in Plant Maintenance or Land machinery is required. You may an experienced time served mobile engineer or recently qualified. What is essential is your experience of servicing, maintaining, repairing and attending breakdowns on heavy plant, construction or agricultural machinery or HGV’s including Mechanical and Electrical work.
