Job Title: Dual Skilled Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst.
Location: Glasgow, Scotland.
Salary / Benefits £22k - £34k + Training + Benefits
An independent and privately owned Asbestos Consultancy with a leading presence in the Central belt of Scotland. They are now seeking to recruit a Dual Skilled Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst. You will be covering Commercial and Industrial sites, carrying out the full range of surveying and analytical services, ensuring work is carried out in line with HSG 248 / HSG 264 guidelines. Our client can provide the successful candidate with tailored career progression, company pension scheme, excellent holiday allowance and competitive salary.
You will be covering the Central Belt of Scotland and surrounding areas: Hamilton, Coatbridge, Cumbernauld, Falkirk, Kincardine, Stirling, Paisley, East Kilbride, Kilmarnock, Penicuik, Edinburgh.
Experience & Qualifications:
" Must hold the BOHS P402, P403, P404 or RSPH equivalent qualification.
" Experience working for an Asbestos Consultancy working in a hands-on role.
" Detailed knowledge of HSG 248 / HSG 264 guidelines.
" Excellent communication skills.
" IT literate and able to use TEAMS / TRACKER systems.
" Excellent time management skills.
The Role:
" Conducting management, refurbishment, and demolition surveys.
" 4 stage clearances.
" Undertaking smoke, background, leak, re-occupation and personal air testing.
" Carrying out visual inspections in asbestos enclosures.
" Carrying out re-inspection surveys upon completion of work.
" Ensuring work is carried out in accordance with HSG 248 / HSG 264 guidelines.
" Gathering information from site and using TEAMS / TRACKER systems.
" Providing clients with excellent consultancy advice.
" Carrying out audits of contractor's removal / remediation work.
