Activus Recruitment are sourcing a Groundworks Supervisor to join our clients team based in Oldmeldrum, Aberdeenshire on a full-time, permanent basis.

This role will require regular travel to sites across Scotland and occasionally the UK.

Key Duties:

• Managing a team of Groundworkers, Labourers and subcontractors.
• Managing various tasks including drainage, concrete, pit installations, slabs, kerbs etc. to a high standard.
• Ordering Materials.
• Ensuring all plant and equipment has been arranged.
• Operating plant.
• Working to programmes and deadlines.
• Ensuring health and safety is in place and adhered to.
• Carrying out Quality checks.

Personal Requirements:

• Extensive experience of drainage, concrete and external works essential.
• Supervisory experience and excellent Management Skills essential.
• Good communication skills essential.
• Good attention to detail.
• Ability to understand construction drawings.
• CSCS/CPCS certified preferably with experience operating 180 and 360 excavators, dumper and roller.
• Clean driving licence.
• Must be willing to travel throughout Scotland.
