Able Bridge Recruitment are currently working with an impressively successful manufacturing business in West Lothian in the recruitment of a Credit Controller on a permanent basis.

The role sits within the credit control team consisting of several credit controllers who report into the credit control manager.  The role is a newly created post owing to the growth of the business over the past few years. 

The Responsibilities
The purpose of this role is to support a number of regional depots in the credit management of their clients.  The client base will range from sole traders to large construction businesses who have varying credit limits.  You will be providing proactive support to the depot`s in offering advice and guidance as to specific clients debtor balances to ensure both depot and client are aware of how close they are to credit limits. 

On a day-to-day basis you can expect to be responsible for the following;
Real time review of bank feed to ensure payments are allocated to client accounts promptly.
Review of client credit limits and providing information to the depots you manage, ensuring that limits are not exceeded.
Ensure delivery notes/invoices are allocated to correct accounts through the ERP system.
Proactively contact customers to ensure goods have been received and enquire as to when payment can be expected.
Review accounts with local depots and resolve client queries when they arise.
Reconcile client accounts to ensure allocated money received correlates to correct invoice/delivery note.

The Requirements
We are seeking a well versed credit controller who has at least 2 years of credit control experience (within the UK).  We would require an individual who is experienced in working with various size`s of businesses and who has worked in either a manufacturing, construction, FMCG business or similar.  Our client also requires somebody who has excellent written and verbal communication skills and who is confident in pro-actively contacting stakeholders internally and externally.
