Anderson Knight is business partnering with a well established SME Chartered Accountancy Firm based in Glasgow. Our client is a well established operation serving a diverse portfolio of SME clients, with a legacy of excellence spanning a number of decades, as well as unwavering commitment to delivering exceptional financial and business advisory services.


Working closely with the other Partners within the business your main focus will be to Lead and Manage the Business Advisory Business, provide mentoring to all staff within the Accounts team whilst ensuring excellent client engagement is maintained at all times.


As a Partner you will play a pivotal role in driving the firm's strategic performance. , ensuring compliance with industry guidelines, and fostering client relationships that contribute to their continued growth and success.


Key Responsibilities will include:


1.    Strategic Leadership: Lead the Business Advisory practice, setting strategic direction, and driving its growth and profitability.
2.    Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong client relationships to both new and existing clients, providing insightful financial and strategic advice
3.    Team Management: Manage and mentor a team of talented professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
4.    Compliance: Ensure that the firm meets all regulatory and compliance guidelines, keeping abreast of industry developments and best practices.
5.    Business Development: Drive new business development initiatives and identify growth opportunities within the SME sector.
6.    Financial Management: Oversee financial performance, budgets, and resource allocation for the Business Advisory practice.


The ideal candidate will possess the following key skills:


•    A Fully Qualified Accountant CA/ACCA
•    Proven experience in a senior leadership role within a Chartered Accountancy firm preferably a mid tier firm
•    Strong expertise in Business Advisory services, including financial planning, financial analysis & strategic consulting.
•    Exceptional client relationship management skills ensuring all clients are dealt with to the upmost professionalism
•    Comprehensive knowledge of compliance guidelines and industry regulations.
