Apex Resources are currently looking for Quantity Surveyors for a well-established house to work on residential and commercial projects across the Central Belt.

Contracts available for Trainee/Assistant/Project & Senior QS’s.

Responsibilities:

• Source and secure contractors and subcontractors.

• Obtain supply chain quotes promptly.

• Identify project risks and build supply chain relationships.

• Produce clear and qualified tender submissions.

• Complete PQQs and streamline new client onboarding.

• Issue quotes for variations and certify subcontractor applications.

• Liaise with clients and construction professionals.

• Monitor project costs for adherence to estimates.

• Provide precise accruals for Profit and Loss reporting.

• Conduct monthly sales forecasting for senior management.

Requirements:

• Previously worked as a Quantity Surveyor, Estimator or in a similar role.

• At least 3 years of surveying experience, unless applying for the trainee position.

• Residential/Housing/Commercial experience – retail parks/hotels etc

• Experience in projects of varying values up to £1m.

• Minimum of HND Quantity Surveying.

• Understanding of commercial and contractual principles.

• Valid UK driving licence.

Salary – Range – 2 monthly bonus dependent on performance.

Trainee QS: £20k - £28k + car allowance

Assistant QS: £25k - £35k + car allowance

Project QS: £35k - £50k + car allowance 

Senior QS: £45k - £65k + car allowance
