Overview

In order to maintain and grow our Energy & Utilities services business in the UK, we are seeking to recruit an ambitious, high performing individual for the above role.

The primary focus will be to provide technical leadership to a team of multi discipline engineers predominantly providing design and approval and appraisal services to gas transportation companies.

However, with the drive towards “net zero”, you will also have a key role to play for growth in other sectors, identifying project opportunities and new clients who require our services to meet the decarbonisation and energy efficiency targets set out by the government.

What we need from you

  • Chartered Engineer status or membership of an appropriate technical body is highly desirable.
  • In depth knowledge of the relevant UK and international gas industry design codes such as IGEM/TD/1; TD/12; TD/13; TD/4; TD/3; SR/25; ASME: B31.8; B31.3; B31.4; etc.
  • Registered gas industry approver / appraiser status would also be highly desirable and it is anticipated that the candidate shall work towards gaining such qualification.
  • Ideally experience and knowledge of LPG, LNG and hydrogen plants and distribution networks.
  • You must have excellent commercial awareness and business acumen with the ability to manage projects to budget including hours and commercial targets.
  • Strong knowledge of the requirements of the engineering, construction and commissioning phases of projects in the utility and industrial sectors
