Maintenance Engineer

Grangemouth, Scotland, UK

Contract length: 12 months (potential to be extended)

Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, Days

Hourly Rate: £40+ per hour, (Dependant on Experience)

SRG are currently looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join a large chemical production plant in Scotland..

You will be responsible for the smooth running of all company machinery and operational lines, to ensure the company remains efficient and profitable.

Role purpose:

Deliver reactive maintenance support across all engineering disciplines to meet production demands, through fault finding and diagnosis of failure. This can involve both the initial definition and implementation of plant modifications.

Deliver planned routine preventative maintenance (RPM) activities to improve plant availability through structured monitoring, asset care, equipment maintenance, etc Identify plant equipment reliability issues, analyse SAP and production data in order to understand improvement options, implement solutions and carry out reviews usually within core trade.
