- Location: Northern Scotland & Glasgow
- 8 hours per day 5 days a week
- Rate: £28ph CIS
- Accommodation provided.
- Contract length: 6 months
About the Job:
Be part of a transformative project aimed at upgrading the existing grid infrastructure by installing new synchronous condensers at two strategic locations over a 6-month period.
About you:
- You will be skilled in High Voltage and installing SCADA/PLC panelling, earthing connections, LV cables, assembly of junction boxes and interconnections between the current transformers and the junction boxes as well as testing and maintaining records.
- Ensure all electrical work activities are carried out safely to a high standard under the permit to work system where applicable.
- Knowledgeable in HSE standards and guidelines
What is needed for this role:
Ideally you will hold one of the following site cards:
- CSCS
- CCNSG Safety Passport
- SHEA Power Passport
- ECS
- 18th Edition Regulations (Desirable)
