Our leading global manufacturing company with sites across the globe and a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Fife, Scotland is looking to hire an experienced Management Accountant to take responsibility for the finance function for the site. Reporting directly into the Managing director with a dotted line into the global CFO your responsibilities will include:

Financial Reporting and Analysis: Prepare accurate financial reports, analyse data, and provide insights to drive informed decision-making.

• Cost Control: Monitor costs, identify cost-saving opportunities, and contribute to overall profitability.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate with stakeholders to create budgets and forecasts, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies.
• Performance Metrics: Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure departmental performance.
• Process Improvement: Identify areas for process optimisation and efficiency gains.

Qualifications:

• Professional Qualification: Happy to consider candidates with relevant experience (and/ or) ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent qualified.
• Experience: Proven experience in management accounting within an industrial/manufacturing setting.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical abilities and proficiency in financial modelling.
• Communication: Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
