Shop Fitting Contracts Manager

We are a fast-track shop fitting Contractor, working in the Leisure Industry nationally. Our main work is working on gymnasiums, climbing centres, trampoline parks and entertaining centres. We also work in other sectors including retail and healthcare. 

We have a vacancy for a Contracts Manager to take charge of all aspects of the projects to deliver quality projects on time and to budget. This is a great opportunity for the right person to work in a Company that is expanding and growing in the shopfitting sector. You will be required to work on numerous projects along with Site Manager, assisting with programming, Health and Safety, risk management, sub-contract engagement and costs. You will have overall responsibility for the projects and will report back to the project team and the MD. You will be required to travel and stay away, all costs will be paid by us.

Roles and Responsibility

• Assist with the appointment of sub-contractors and management.
• Development of detailed programmes
• Liaison with the Site Manager to comply with Building Regulations, quality of work / installations, and Health and Safety.
• Oversee Client meetings and Clients project team.
• Ability to plan, take decisions, and take responsibility for those decisions.
• Be able to have a flexible approach maintaining a professional manner at all times.
• Able to create a team culture with all staff.
• Self-motivating and able to trouble shoot.

Desirable Experience 

• A minimum of 5 years experience as a Contracts Manager within the fast track shopfitting industry.
• Health and safety qualifications an advantage. SMSTS, CSCS, NEBOSH 
• Project management qualification and first aid
