Do you have experience of leading engineering teams? Do you have an extensive background of working within manufacturing?

On offer is a fantastic opportunity to work in a modern facility going through massive investment and expansion.

This well established food manufacturing business are growing year on year and in line with their ambitious expansion plans they are looking for a shift team lead, to help drive growth and help develop up and coming engineers.

In this role you will be managing, leading, and supervising a team of engineers as they develop, test, modify, and create solutions to technical problems. This will be with support from the Engineering Development Manager.

You will be supporting the team ensuring engineering solutions are put in place to permanently fix breakdowns/failures and that the root cause is identified and addressed. You will be a strong motivator and leader to you team, proactively spotting shortfalls in team skills, offering development and training.

This role would ideally suit someone, who is a strong leader of people, or someone who is looking for the next step in their career.

The Role
*Maintenance Engineer Team Leader
*Leading a team of maintenance engineers
*Working closely with the Engineering Manager, developing your team whilst being mentored yourself.
*4 on 4 off shift, rotating days and nights every 2 weeks
*Working in a food manufacturing environment
*£50,000-£55,500 + Overtime + Training, Progression + Pension + Excellent Benefits

The Person
*Experience in Team Leader or Supervisory or Manager positions
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
*A passion for delivering results and leading from the front
*Engineering background with qualifications to back up your abilities
*Be happy to work shifts
