As the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial management, reporting, and compliance for the company. Working closely with senior management, you will play a key role in shaping financial strategy, optimising processes, and ensuring the integrity of financial information.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead the finance team in preparing accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements.
  • Develop and implement robust financial controls and procedures to safeguard assets and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Manage the budgeting and forecasting process, providing insights and recommendations to support decision-making.
  • Conduct financial analysis and performance evaluations to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies to ensure timely submission of statutory filings and compliance with applicable laws.
  • Provide financial guidance and support to departmental heads and senior management, driving accountability and performance.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging risks, proactively advising management on potential impacts and mitigation strategies.
 
What you will bring to the role.
  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) with extensive experience in finance leadership roles.
  • Proven track record of success in financial management, with a strong understanding of accounting principles and best practices.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and influence decision-making.
  • Strategic mindset, with the ability to think critically and anticipate future challenges and opportunities.
