Electrician, Glasgow City Centre, Salary £33,000 to £35,000 per annum

Static Site Based Opportunity with Free Parking + Company Pension + 29 Days Holiday & Much More! 

Working Hours – Monday, Friday, 8am – 4:30pm 

Electrician required to join an exceptional team based on a prestigious Glasgow site, providing planned and reactive electrical maintenance. The Electrician will play a key role supporting the multiskilled engineering team, carrying out facilities maintenance onsite.

Applications are invited from Electricians who can demonstrate a strong facilities management or building services background with experience in PPM's and reactive maintenance work. 

Key Responsibilities of the Electrician: 

  • Undertake planned preventative maintenance, including monthly lighting and plant checks and general building maintenance. 
  • Carry out reactive electrical works i.e., repairs to internal and external lighting and distribution boards. 
  • Routine PPM visits & reactive repairs (when required) to electrical assets around the site. 
  • Supervise and support subcontractors onsite for PPM/reactive works. 

Requirements of the Electrician: 

  • 18th Edition (BS7671) 
  • City & Guilds /SVQ: Level II/III - Electrical Installations 
  • Be able to demonstrate a solid background working within the facilities management or building services industry.
