Electrician, Glasgow City Centre, Salary £33,000 to £35,000 per annum

Working Hours – Monday, Friday, 8am – 4:30pm
Electrician required to join an exceptional team based on a prestigious Glasgow site, providing planned and reactive electrical maintenance. The Electrician will play a key role supporting the multiskilled engineering team, carrying out facilities maintenance onsite.
Applications are invited from Electricians who can demonstrate a strong facilities management or building services background with experience in PPM's and reactive maintenance work.
Key Responsibilities of the Electrician:
- Undertake planned preventative maintenance, including monthly lighting and plant checks and general building maintenance.
- Carry out reactive electrical works i.e., repairs to internal and external lighting and distribution boards.
- Routine PPM visits & reactive repairs (when required) to electrical assets around the site.
- Supervise and support subcontractors onsite for PPM/reactive works.
Requirements of the Electrician:
- 18th Edition (BS7671)
- City & Guilds /SVQ: Level II/III - Electrical Installations
- Be able to demonstrate a solid background working within the facilities management or building services industry.
