Designer required to join a well-established construction specialist based in Glasgow. This company work on exciting roofing and cladding projects within the industrial, retail and commercial sector throughout the UK. The company have got some exciting projects lined up for the year ahead and require a Designer to join their growing team in Glasgow.

The most successful Designer will have a strong proficiency using AutoCAD and have previously worked on roofing and cladding projects. It would be advantageous if you have previously worked with BIM Modelling previously or Revit also, but this is not essential.

Designer Position Remuneration

• Starting salary £40,000 - £55,000 (dependant on experience)
• Company car
• Annual bonus

Designer Position Overview

• Liaise directly with the Design Manager and other departments to assist in securing projects through specification and design.
• Produce construction drawing to a professional standard
• Schedule and order materials in line with site programmes
• Visit sites to ensure site installations is in line with drawings
• Create 'As Built' drawings for issue with operations manual

Designer Position Requirements

• Proficiency in AutoCAD
• Roofing and Cladding design experience is highly desirable (related construction background considered)
• Strong understanding of the construction industry
• Strong communicator with the confidence to liaise with clients
