Responsibilities within your new role

As the new Sewing Machinist, you will be responsible for operating all sewing machines within the factory, including stitching cotton textiles, cutting and inspecting fabrics, and folding and pressing garments ready for dispatch. You will also ensure that all equipment is maintained in good working order throughout your shift.

Your experience, personality and qualifications

Proven experience as a Sewing Machinist in a manufacturing or textile environment is required to be successful in this dynamic new role, as well as excellent attention to detail and the ability to maintain consistent quality standards. You should be familiar with twin-needle sewing machines and have strong knowledge of fabrics, sewing techniques, and garment construction.
