BMS Bureau Engineer

Akton are recruiting on behalf of a client who is looking for a BMS Bureau Engineer to join their team in Bellshill.
Responsibilities
- Remote energy and operational management of HVAC assets via various BMS platforms including but not limited to; TREND, SIEMENS, TRIDIUM, WEMS and SCHNEIDER.
- Liaise with local branch engineers who may be attending site to address remedial works identified from the ecoHUB.
- Liaise with Client Operations team to provide assistance where applicable to help them identify and resolve remedial actions necessary.
- Ongoing remote optimisation of HVAC control systems
- Provide accurate and detailed technical diagnosis of faults reported within Client estate via FM system and any other sources (i.e. Store staff, FM contractor or REM)
- Further develop the use of software strategy capabilities for implementation throughout client estates
- Diagnose reasons for excess energy consumption alarms
- Be innovative with ideas to reduce energy consumption at all times
Requirements
- Advanced BMS systems knowledge
- Ability to correctly interpret and alter existing control strategy in BMS systems
- Extensive HVAC systems experience
- Strong PC skills
- IT Networking experience
- Excellent customer communication skills (i.e. verbally and commercially)
- Proactive analysis and reporting of BMS/Energy data from business systems
