Our client based in Methlick are looking for a Senior CNC Machnist to join their team on a staff basis.
Job description:
• Interpret client specifications, enter them onto the CNC machine
• Set up machine and monitor it as it operates to ensure delivery of quality precision made parts Optimizing the machining processes in terms of consistent quality and productivity
• Supervise and coordinate activities in the machine shop
• Operating computer-controlled machine to cut, make and manufacture precision parts
• Load and unload material, set up and operate a computer numerical control (CNC) machine
• Assisting in Quality control of parts and stock control
• Ensuring that operating policies and procedures are adhered to
• Basic servicing and maintenance of equipment
• General house keeping
Desired Qualities/Qualifications
• Recognized apprenticeship or training program in a technical discipline preferred.
• Previous experience operating CNC Machinery
• Strong leadership experience in a similar working environment
The successful candidate should have good attention to detail, work to a high standard and be able to work on own initiative.
