Class 2 [Refuse Truck Drivers]

Driver Hire are currently looking for multiple Class 2 drivers for ongoing work driving refuse lorries for our client, based in Altens, Aberdeen.
The duties will include:
- Collecting domestic and commercial waste around the Aberdeen areas in a Class 2 vehicle.
- Help with loading as and when required to assist the crew in completing all work on time and in a safe and controlled manner
- Working in a team of 2/3 people.
Skills / Qualifications needed:
- Experience driving Class 2 (HGV) vehicles.
- Class 2 HGV Licence (CAT C) an in-date CPC and Digi-Tacho
- No more than 6 points for insurance purposes.
- Good communication skills
- Good area knowledge of the local area
- Working as part of a team.
Rate of pay is £13.27p/h - paid PAYE through PayStream (Driver Hire Contracting)
Alternatively you can choose to have your holiday pay paid out as you earn it! (PAYE advanced) Rate of pay with this method is £14.87p/h
Either way you are paid weekly on a Friday, following the week you worked.
Working hours: Mon-Fri, 7am - 3pm daily with a 2:30pm finish on a Fri afternoon. Total hours each week are 37.5h although occasionaly overtime might be available as well.
This is regular ongoing work with the possibility of a permanent Full time job with our client.
