Finance Manager/CFO 

We are currently advertising for a Finance Manager or Chief Financial Officer for our offices in Glasgow (CFO) to analyse everyday financial activities and provide strategic advice to upper management on future financial plans. This role plays a critical part in enabling the company’s leaders to make informed business decisions aligned with our long-term goals. 

Responsibilities 

• Provide financial reports and interpret financial information for managerial staff, recommending further courses of action. 

• Advise on investment activities and provide strategies for the company's financial health. 

• Analyse costs, pricing, sales results, and performance compared to business plans. 

• Develop financial trends and projections for the firm. 

• Oversee finance department operations, setting objectives and goals. 

• Manage the company’s budget and liaise with auditors to ensure financial monitoring. 

• Collaborate with other departments to align company plans with strategic goals. 

Requirements and Skills 

• Proven experience as a Finance Manager or CFO. 

• Financial sector experience with roles such as financial analyst. 

• Strong understanding of financial trends and accounting principles. 

• Proficient in finance software. 

• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills. 

• Knowledge of statutory legislation and regulations. 

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics; professional qualifications like CFA/CPA are a plus.
