Gibson Recruitment is delighted to be partnering with a highly respected large-scale main contractor, to recruit an experienced Site Manager to help deliver a flagship development in central Edinburgh.

The organisation has had a major presence in the Scottish market for several years and continues to dominate the sector, breaking ground on several prestigious developments in the next few months. This unique and exciting position has been created due to the ongoing growth of the business in Glasgow.


 

Your New Role:

The successful candidate will become a key member of the management team on a large-scale flatted development in Edinburgh. As such, the ideal applicant will come from a Trade or Civil Engineering background and have experience managing flatted projects up to £40m in value – whether that be Student Accommodation, Residential, Education, Hotel and Leisure, Health Care, etc.

Due to the fast-paced nature of the business, you should be an energetic and driven Site Manager.

This is an excellent opportunity to work for one of the nations’ leading contractors.


 

Key Criteria:

• Demonstrable experience as a Site Manager on similar sized developments with another Tier 1 Contractor

• A confident and articulate communicator.

• SMSTS.

• CSCS.

• First Aid at Work

• Proven experience of meeting deadlines and keeping costing guidelines.
