Role Overview: Credit Controller
We’re currently looking for an experienced Credit Controller for a full-time, permanent position in our finance team. The role is entirely office based and you will be expected to commute to our Livingston Office on a daily basis.
Your Duties:
- Keep stringent management over our entire account base ensuring customers pay debts as per agreed terms
- Chase customers regularly by telephone and email
- Send monthly statements to customers and resolve queries in a timely manner
- Create regular sales ledger reports via Microsoft Dynamics Nav and analyse these appropriately to share necessary updates with Directors on outstanding debtors
- Reconciliation of client accounts and banking receipts
- Set-up new customer accounts on Microsoft Dynamics Nav and other software systems
- Escalate debtor issues to management as and when needed
You should have;
- At least 3 years experience working in a Credit Controller position
- Strong communication skills
- Experience working in a fast paced environment
- Experience working to tight deadlines
- Ability to work under pressure
- Ability to manage own workload
- Work independently and motive yourself to work hard
- Attention to detail is crucial
- Proficient in Excel
- Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics Nav (desirable)
