Landscape Architect
 
Our client is looking for an enthusiastic landscape architect or landscape planner to join their award-winning team in Glasgow.
 
The successful applicant will deliver Landscape and Visual Impact Assessment (LVIA) alongside our environmental planning and design teams on several high-profile and challenging projects. The role will also involve providing early landscape planning and landscape frameworks as part of master planning commissions and increasingly working closely with colleagues to integrate a 'landscape-led' approach. We are also involved in other forms of landscape planning advice and assessment for a range of clients and project types in Scotland and the UK.
 
You will bring a willingness to learn, fresh ideas, and contribute fully to multi-disciplinary teams and projects. You must have an excellent standard of written communication and presentation and enjoy a fast-paced and varied workload.
 
Your Experience:
·A degree or diploma in landscape architecture
·You may be a graduate with an interest in landscape planning, or have several years of experience
·Membership of The Landscape Institute at an appropriate level
·Full clean driving licence
Your Skills:
·Articulate with strong written and graphic communication style, preferably with experience of producing robust professional reports, graphics and good presentational skills
·A working knowledge of computer applications including Word, CAD, Photoshop, GIS
·Able to work independently and as part of a mixed discipline team, including undertaking field work and travel (Full driving Licence required).
·Enthusiastic with a 'can do' approach with good organisational skills /time and workload management.
 The teams work to a hybrid model of working from home and office based and will consider flexible working arrangements.
