2020 Recruitment are working with a Fife based Biomass Station who are looking to add an experienced Production Team Leader to their team on a permanent contract.

The successful candidate will have a high level of technical and operational plant awareness. Ideally you will have a ‘time served’ apprenticeship, a management qualification equivalent to level 3 or above, IOSH Managing Safely or above, with a minimum of 5 years power generation/utility experience.

This is a role will be on a continental 4 on, 4 off shift patterns.

The Role

As the Production Team Leader you will manage day to day objectives for the site to include operational output, logistics, long term operational and maintenance needs, statutory compliance, resource planning and cost control measures.

Duties & Responsibilities

As the Production Team Leader your duties and responsibilities will include:

• Identify and achieve key indicators of success, establishing improvement plans and targets for the shift team
• Manage and be fully accountable for the core requirements of the SHE Management system
• Ensure shift teams are competent both technically and behaviourally and that adequate support is available, organised and supervised where necessary
• Provide strong management giving precise delegation and responsibility where needed
• Motivate and enthuse all members of the shift team to contribute to a purposeful environment
• Ensure full implementation and continued improvement of the Sertica Maintenance System

Requirements

To be considered for Production Team Leader role you must have the following experience:

• Relevant time served apprenticeship
• Management qualifications equivalent to level 3 or above
• 5 years + experience within a power generation/utility position
• IOSH Managing Safety qualification
• Leadership and communication skills
• Ability to identify areas of improvement
• Strong personality
• Own transport
