Production Team Leader | Ballingry | £££Negotiable DOE

My client a leading renewable energy plant (Biomass) urgently require a Production Team Leader to join their expanding operations on a permanent contract.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will lead a two man shift team.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day to day objectives for the site to include operational output, logistics, long term operational and maintenance needs, statutory compliance, resource planning and cost control measures.
• Identify and achieve key indicators of success, establishing improvement plans and targets for the shift team.
• Manage and be fully accountable for the core requirements of the SHE Management system.
• Ensure shift teams are competent both technically and behaviourally and that adequate support is available, organised and supervised where necessary.
• Provide strong management giving precise delegation and responsibility where needed.
• Motivate and enthuse all members of the shift team to contribute to a purposeful environment.
• Ensure full implementation and continued improvement of the Sertica Maintenance System.

The successful candidate will be a competent Sertica user with a high level of technical and operational plant awareness. Ideally you will have a 'time served' apprenticeship, a management qualification equivalent to level 3 or above, IOSH Managing Safely or above, with a minimum of 5 years power generation/utility experience. You will be able to demonstrate excellent leadership, communication and IT skills.
