Quality Advisor

Location: Office-based with site visits across Scotland

Salary: £32-38k

Hours: 40 - 44 hours per week

Role Overview: As a Quality Advisor, you will join our client's Support Services team's Quality Department and report to the Quality Manager. Your role involves providing guidance and support in effective Quality Assurance and Control management. You will work to maintain ISO 9001:2015 certification, promote a positive Quality culture, and identify areas for process improvement.

You must come from a Construction / Civil Engineering background with a substantial focus on Quality through the delivery of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist project teams in developing and implementing project-specific Quality documents
  • Conduct regular quality audits on sites and generate reports
  • Monitor the resolution of non-conformances through corrective actions
  • Collaborate with project teams and supply chain partners
  • Participate in client Quality initiatives and working groups

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in civil engineering/construction
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001
  • Familiarity with audit and inspection processes in construction is advantageous
  • Organized work approach
  • Strong teamwork and independent work skills
  • Experience in roads construction/reinstatement is advantageous
  • Full UK Driver's Licence
