Westlakes Recruit are currently recruiting for a Work Control Engineer with a background in nuclear/defence on a permanent basis, to be located in Annon, Scotland.

The Role:
* Demonstrate safe, effective and ethical working behaviours.
* Adhere to management system requirements for engineering activities.
* Deliver engineering tasks to schedule, budget and quality requirements
* Maintain and promote high personal standards in environment, safety, health, security and quality and be a great team player.
* Identify and escalate business risk arising from condition of engineered systems and structures.
* Demonstrate adherence to management system requirements and relevant technical standards.
* Engage with company delivery and administrative requirements; report own and team progress honestly and clearly, communicate in an engaging manner, support performance management.
* Optimise the delivery of Operations Engineering.
* Interface with other government departments
* Work with team leaders
* Provision of specified services to internal and external customers, to agreed standards.
* Maintain awareness of developments in own trade and apply to own workplace where appropriate.
* Provision of timely reporting for key stakeholders.
* Comparison and analysis of trends within the Project and identification of risk and opportunities
* Review, acceptance and integration of cost estimates and forecasts provided by Contractors and suppliers.
* Adherence to governance and Cost standards and procedures
* Ensure all Project documents, Sensitive Nuclear Information, is correctly marked, and protected in accordance with policies and procedures
