Tradestech Recruitment require Steel Erectors and Riggers for a long term contract, on a major project, in Edinburgh.
As a Steel Erector, you will be responsible for assembling and installing steel structures according to design specifications. We ideally want local applicants or people within reasonable commutable distance from Edinburgh.
Responsibilities:
- Assemble and erect steel frames, beams and structural components according to construction drawings and specifications.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and procedures at all times.
- Perform welding, bolting, and other connection methods to secure steel members together.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and organised manner.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Steel Erector with the correct Skilled CPCS card.
- Proficiency in reading construction drawings and blueprints.
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations and procedures related to steel erection.
- Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions.
The work is due to commence late in April but we are looking to speak to candidates who would like to express their interest ASAP.
