Freelance Engineering Surveyor / Site Engineer

Brownlee Cale are recruiting for an experienced Freelance Engineering Surveyor or Site Engineer to join an earthworks project for 12 weeks.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Setting out and monitoring of works on site.
- Carrying out surveys using GPS
- Working with GPS controlled Plant
- Produce As-Builts
- Manage technical queries.
- Ensure quality control requirements are met and recorded in accordance with specification.
- Promote a high standard of health and safety and environment compliance.
- Use of engineering softwares namely AutoCAD and LSS.
Candidate Requirements:
- Civil Engineering HNC/Degree or equivalent
- 4+ years experience working within a self delivery civil engineering environment
- Earthworks experience
- CSCS Card

- Competitive day rate based on 10.5 hour working days (Mon-Fri)

- Negotiable rate depending on kit supply and experience.
This role will be temporary for initially 12 weeks, with further works for high performing contractors.
