Roofing Estimator
Boyd Recruitment are recruiting an experienced Roofing Estimator or our client who are a Building and Civil Engineering Company.
Working closely with other members of the Roofing Management team, the successful Roofing Estimator should have a proven track record of pricing for commercial projects in the roofing industry.
The Job
- Attend client meetings.
- Work alongside Management to determine scope of works for estimating and tendering purposes.
- Assisting in the completion of Pre-Qualification Questionnaires.
- Provide written quotations.
- Providing schedules of materials for delivery to sites to allow works to be carried out.
- Liaise with Management team to identify additional works not allowed for in initial tenders and price/recover costs accordingly.
The Person
- At least 5 years’ experience in the roofing industry.
- Proficient in all aspects and types of industrial roofing and cladding systems.
- Knowledge of single ply/ felt systems would also be an advantage.
- Strong written and verbal communications, relationship-building, mathematical and IT skills.
- Enthusiastic, approachable, and creative personality.
- Able to approach challenges constructively and work with others to give the best possible customer service.
