Contract Scotland are working with a large main contractor based in Central Scotland to source an experienced Senior Site Manager. A leader in the Scottish construction industry, this family-owned business has an impressive portfolio across the public and private sectors and a proud history of developing and promoting talent.

Supported by a Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading projects from inception to completion, managing subcontractors, developing and maintaining accurate site records, and driving standards in quality, time management, budget and health & safety.

As Senior Site Manager, you will play a key role in driving a large, circa £30m in value, new-build development in Edinburgh.

You will be responsible for (but not limited to):
- Day-to-day site management.
- Ensuring that work is completed safely and efficiently.
- Maintaining and developing site records.
- Pushing forward projects in line with budget and quality guidelines.
- Maintaining and growing strong relationships with clients and sub-contractors.
- Playing a key role in mentoring and training junior members on site.

To be considered for this role, you will have demonstrable experience managing new-build and refurbishment projects within the commercial and residential sectors, be confident in managing and maintaining site records, and be a driven and strategic individual who is confident and motivated in working collaboratively toward the success of a shared goal.
