Embedded Firmware Design Engineer
Scotland-Perth, Forfar, Montrose
£45k per annum

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
Degree:
- Bachelor's degree in Software, Computer, or Electronics Engineering (Honors 2:1 or better preferred). Electronics degree requires significant programming experience.
- Minimum 2 years of experience developing embedded real-time firmware (C++ preferred).
- Experience with 32-bit microprocessors, with a preference for ARM architecture.
- Experience with 8/16-bit microcontrollers.
- Proficiency in VxWorks, FreeRTOS, or uC/COS-II(-III) real-time operating systems (RTOS).
- Development experience in PC/Device application-level software targeting Linux, Android, or Windows using languages such as C++, C#, VB, Java, or C.
- Knowledge of USB protocols.
- Proficiency in Python programming.
- Familiarity with Object-Oriented Software Design and Methodologies.
