Murray Recruitment are working in partnership with a Plumbing and Heating contractor who have a new vacancy available for a Plumber with water hygiene experience to join their mobile team on a permanent basis.

You will be working on a variety of domestic and commercial sites across Central Scotland with occasional travel to the North of England.

Main duties and responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• The role involves carrying out installation, service and repair on all mechanical and plumbing systems as required.  
• For example, installation, service and repair of taps, toilets, bathtubs, sinks etc.
• Carrying out water sampling, water temperature checks and Legionella Risk Assessments.
• Completing closed system sampling and testing. 
• Working safely and efficiently to ensure client requirements are met.
• To take a proactive approach to client liaison and ensure that concerns are dealt with or relayed to management as necessary.
• To ensure that administration requirements are actioned on time and all necessary documents and records are maintained accurately. 
• Working safely at all times, complying with current Health & Safety legislation.
• You will be working within a busy FM, client-facing environment and happy to work to agreed SLAs.

Skills, Experience and Qualifications:

• SVQ/NVQ level 3 Plumbing.
• Holding L8 / Legionella Awareness course would be advantageous (although not essential).
• Ideally, you will have previous experience working within a busy Plumbing role with significant Water Hygiene related experience. 
• Previous experience working within a busy commercial environment.
• Happy to complete a Disclosure Scotland.

• Salary: £30,000 - £34,000.
